I love

that I’m in the only position that can be in where you can’t wait for the most physically painful experience of your life to happen already.

34 weeks

My loosest fitting jeans officially no longer fit. I’m currently debating whether or not to buy maternity pants or stick with the sweats. Wearing jogging pants for the past five days has encouraged me to lean toward the latter. Don’t judge me, I’M GROWING A CHILD IN MY BELLY. I think that deserves six to seven weeks of jogging pants-exclusivity. Judging by the fact that the doctor is saying I’ll probably be a week or more late, I’d better just buy the pants, I draw the line at 50 days of jogging pants.

Baby Shower

There was about eighty people at my parents house for our shower yesterday. It was great to see our families and to have many of them meet each other for the first time today. Luckily those who had never met one another seemed to get along pretty well. It was fantastic to see all of our friends again, a few of which we hadn’t seen in months. 

I made everyone promise not to bother with my birthday next month and got all out for our shower gift instead, that coupled with the size of both our families led to us receiving a considerable amount of baby goodies. I felt bad for everyone who had to sit through like two hours of us opening presents. My arms got tired, literally. I don’t know what we’re going to do with it all. I guess all the organizing will give me something to do for the next few days. 

I want to mention how much I love my wonderful sister for organizing everything for us. She’s so sweet that she cried and thanked us when we gave her a Thank you card .

Accomplished

By belly officially sticks out more than my boobies do.
