UNICEF’s School-in-a-Box $186

Whenever I go on a shopping binge, I make it my mission to buy at least one item benefitting a charity (or more, depending on how bad my binge was). For christmas this year, I’m going for UNICEF’s School-in-a-Box. Coming in at a little under $200, the lockable metal cases are filled with exercise books, pencils, erasers, scissors, a wooden teaching clock, plastic cubes for counting and a set of three laminated posters. UNICEF has some great ways to give back on their online store, from vaccines and first aid kits to jump ropes and more.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: shopbop.com

Being that my mother is a survivor, and I have a pretty good risk of getting it myself, I’m always a big supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, my favorite place to get the gear so far is shopbop.com. From Hanky Panky’s Breast Cancer Signature Lace Low Rise Thong to shopbop’s own basic tees designed by celebrities including Nicky Hilton, Sophia Bush , Hilary Duff, Nicky Hilton, Jaime King (pictured), Cindy Crawford, and Denise Richard, they’re awareness products are not only cute, they’re philanthropic too. Hanky Panky will donate $2 from the purchase price of their underwear to Susan G. Komen for the CURE® and 50% of the proceeds from the celebrity-designed tees will benefit Breast Cancer Network of Strength®.
